虽然专辑里没有Hebe的作品，但里头已经参杂了许许多多有才华的音乐人
真的很多很棒的歌词和曲，真的好喜欢.
写词人都用自己的角度，对Hebe的认识，去写适合Hebe的歌曲。
像〈离岛〉，〈我对不起我〉，〈To Hebe〉都是为Hebe量身定做的，
独特的词语，巧妙地写出了Hebe的性格。
第一波主打〈LOVE〉简单的描述了，爱，就是这么简单。
爱护彼此，拥抱世界，传送大爱给世间万物，就是爱。

蔡依林 Jolin Tsai 2010年概念专辑《 Myself 》
Jolin再次在新专辑中带来新的东西
Voguing. 虽然S.H.E曾在我的电台专辑的宇宙小姐介绍过，
不过S.H.E的是比较简单的版本。
而Jolin的真的是让我打开眼界！
尤其是她在节目上讲解了这个Dancing Style 的风格，然后再重看一次美人计的MV
才真正的了解到 Vogue 的精华元素。折手，动作，眼神，定格...等等
这是我第一次这么喜欢她整张专辑的歌，没有一首我不喜欢。
赞！
可能这张专辑比较西洋化 而且收录很多Dance, Party & Funk 的音乐吧~
真得让我感觉到她在这张专辑所诠释的东西，
有Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears 的结合，当然还有她自己的 element.
Fashionable & Sexy 到极点，可以从音乐都听得出来哦！
原本还没有爱上他的主打歌，但听第二次就爱上了~

Dancing hits 如：美人计，玩爱之徒，黑发尤物，娘子汉
R&B 强打：无言以对
抒情主打：小伤口，解散爱
都是我的最爱，其他没被提到的，也都不错。
专辑里的所有 Interludes 都串得很好，很适合。

王力宏 LeeHom 《十八般武艺》

《恋爱通告》, 电影情节是普通啦，不过演技倒是还不错，很漫画，我喜欢。
看了他的电影，只能说，我真得很想马上买他的专辑！
可能电影里播的都是精华部分，所以当我拿到了他的专辑，倒是觉得还好。
可是....还是值得听和买！
力宏这次又把 Chinked-out 的风格带回来，几首回味无穷的中国风歌曲都不错。
主打〈十八般武艺〉真的有给到惊喜。起先还以为会是很Hiphop的。但并不，反而很不错。
其中一首歌曲 〈杜 U Love Me〉的 Chorus 和 以前 Destiny's Child 的 Independent Woman 有点像
然后他的〈伯牙绝弦〉的Chorus又和以前他 《心中的日月》 的 〈星座〉很像
真希望不要等下他涉嫌抄袭的 issue.
而且我也认为〈杜 U Love Me〉的歌名应该放〈Do U Love Me〉比较适当吧~
不然的话，根本就好像这首歌是为电影而写的...我不喜欢这样..
Errr...歌星还是要 stick to their own role 比较好。

王力宏最厉害的浪漫情歌，〈你不知道的事〉，当然是一定要爱咯~
专辑里的最后一首〈自己人〉很可爱，唱着全世界人一同团结，爱彼此的歌。很温馨。
他的唱腔感觉有点不同了，听到了他的一些特别编曲。
〈伯牙绝弦〉的乐器独奏，〈美〉的和声编辑，〈需要人陪〉的简单配乐。
严格上来算，这张专辑只有9首歌曲...还真的很不过瘾耶~

接着，就是等待9月3日的来临，我漂亮美丽的Hebe拳打脚踢的时候啦啦啦啦啦啦啦~~

Finally, I got the album from Popular that I pre-ordered...
After all these countless days i have been waiting...
Its now in my hands...
WAHAHAHAHAHA! *usual roaring laughters*

Its too late! I already downloaded the whole album since the launching day and dunnoe shuffled how many times in my ipod during work! Really wonder why M'sia is always so slow~~~
Dunnoe whether its the recording company's fault or Popular's fault!?!
Anyway got it already. Very happy, so shall make a review on it!

This time, they launch two versions which im not satisfied with it! Just like their 6th & 11th Album. The nicer version always give unneccessary freebies but the "not very nice" one give better freebies! DUH! =.=
So...I chose the "not very nice" version which i had said earlier

Next, the design of the album is NOT user friendly.
The size is too BIG!! How should I keep it? It’s very bulky and the pictures are so ZOOM in.
For what? Why don’t they just make it into normal CD album size?
Besides that, the album is a big booklet with a small insert to put the CD.
It is not attached with the booklet. Then, what if the CD insert drop out?
Furthermore, I am like holding a MAGAZINE to read the lyrics =.=
Seriously, not satisfied with the design. Previous album also!
Besar sampai nak mampus!

These are the 2 things that I don’t like about the album.

For the songs, obviously, the theme and style are a bit different from previous albums. This time, they call themselves Shero. It’s a word that describes female heroes. In other words, heroine. Haha! Anyway, the message to bring out is telling the females must be strong and independent. Females don’t need males to survive in this world. Doesn’t mean that only males can become heroes, but females can be sheroes as well. Although Heroes broke records and left lots of glamour HIS-tory but Sheroes also can have their own HER-story. Besides that, also telling the males to appreciate the females but not take for granted in a relationship.

In this album, S.H.E has a more compact voice and their harmonizing skills are even better. Most of the songs were arranged with lots of challenging harmonizing chords and they delivered it very well. It’s a very good sign to see their improvement and effort.

Song List:

SHERO:
Another rock hit from S.H.E since ‘Superstar’ in their 5th album. It’s a song to tell the females that you can be a brave and strong Shero! A very lively and catchy song written by 阿信from Mayday. I love the lyrics that say:
“看不到找不到等不到你的Hero，为何不做自己，只手撑天的Shero”
“You can’t see, search or wait for your Hero, why don’t you just be a tough and strong Shero?”
Very inspiring, and this will be my next 1st hit song in my Karaoke song list for warming up my vocals! Wohoo~

If You Were a Girl 如果你是女孩：
This is a techno pop song in the album. Honestly, this song is a bit Thai-ish. Seriously, the style is a bit…weird, which I really don’t like it.

I Love Rainy Night Flower 我爱雨夜花：
The English name is a direct translation, so it’s very funny. But trust me; the Chinese name is very beautiful. There is this popular Hokkien folk song named Rainy Night Flower (雨夜花) and this is the other version of it. Not a cover version of the song, but using some of the elements of the folk song and transpose into this Hokkien hip hop. This is the 1st time S.H.E using Hokkien to sing the whole song and because it’s a hip hop, there are lots of tongue-twisting rapping parts which is damn challenging! Till now I only can get the chorus. This is the 3rd song that I loved. It’s a really nice and special song that depicts the love story in the era of our grandpas & grandmas.

Deserted Island 两个人的荒岛：
Duet with one of their juniors, 周定纬 whom I don’t really like. Because I think he only can dance. Singing? He should train more…
Just a normal ballad. But the harmonizing parts are nice and easy to pick up. Suitable for karaoke duet lovers.

Without You 少了一个人:
A good ballad piece written by Peter Lee, 李偲松 (Famous Singapore composer) & 郑楠 (A young talented composer).

Bring Me Along 收留我：
A very catchy moderato song that is very suitable for best friends or so called BFF. It’s a song that portrays the importance of friendship. As friends doesn’t make you cry or frustrated like lovers do, so please bring me along when I am feeling down or need a shoulder.

It’s Possible 超可能：
Another weird song that I don’t keen of. They kind of make the style of this song a bit like Nobody from Wonder Girls. Little bit of old school pop, little bit of jazz. But sorry, the music arrangement is TOO UNACCEPTABLE.

Loving You 爱上你：
One of the songs from the current hit series “Down with Love”, starring Ella & Jerry Yan. A very sweet, very lovely song from them. The style that S.H.E always presented very well.

You Won’t 你不会：
A successful ballad hit written by Darryl Yao 姚若龙 (Famous Taiwanese lyricist) and 郑楠. At first I didn’t really concentrate on this song until Shane Tan told me it’s nice. After reading the lyrics, with the music accompaniment, it is so touching. There were lots of harmonizing chords and pitching notes. This will be the 2nd song that I like in the album. This heartbreaking love song is just about a normal break off relationship. But I like the lyricist used metaphor to describe all the little bits in an unstable relationship. It’s…really…sad.

Just Love It 爱就对了：
The 4th song that I like in this album. It’s a soft rock pop that explains the meaning of love. “爱就对了，错的是我们还们学会爱，就急着爱人，而爱错人”
We can’t blame ‘Love’ when our relationship failed because it’s our fault that we did not learn the meaning of ‘Love’. Therefore, look forward and be positive that you had learnt a lesson and there will be a better tomorrow. Good music arrangement and it’s a really good song for expressing. Haha!

But actually I like the 1st version more. Because of the DVD is just MTVs so I chose the 2nd one which comes with their promo concert DVD. But nevermind, they are still beautiful as usual!

Just finished watching the latest episode of Glee...

This series successfully made me wept 3 to 4 times...This time as well...

This episode is about Sue challenged Mr Schuester about the sectionals...AGAIN!

As Usual....

So, all the fighting stuff in the begining and Mr Schuester found smthg for the Glee club to make them more attractive and more possible to win. and they came out with this "haireography" thing! haha! Its super funny!

Later on, when the deaf glee club came to their school to perform, and ya...

The people are deaf, how are they going to sing?

They speak. Through sign language with the piano accompanying.

Speak the lyrics out, through words and just simple hand gestures...

This touched the Glee club and Mercedes (a role in the show) starts singing with them, and all of them added in. Now only I know, the song was the popular song called "Imagine"

Originally sung by John Lennon. A motivative song

At first I really have no idea what's that song. But when the melody cames in...

Thats when the emotion comes in....Aaarghhh...

See, this is the power of music and words...

Music touches people hearts, Words expresses feelings.

When the collaboration of the two, it becomes something very powerful..

That really moves you and makes you have goosebumps all around...

In the end, Mr.Schue knows that, simplicity actually can touch people's hearts as well

Especially when you really sing FROM your heart.

Finally, they performed True Colours by Cyndi Lauper.

They sat on a stool, just stay still and sang this song with simple chords and a clean, clear voice.

Its the first time where the cheerios put their hair down all of them sing with a very calm and relief expression. No fancy clothes or choreography...Sing from the heart and feel the words...

Its an inspiring song!

He is Anthony. Knew him from the Taiwan Star Search show 5 (超级星光大道5）
Previously highly reccomended by friends to watch his performance.
Yes indeed, impressed by his one of his performance, he was singing "The Blower's Daughter"
He is an American mixed chinese and currently studying in Taiwan.


This morning I switch on AEC and saw him in the competition again.
This time he is singing Karen Mok's "如果没有你"
He is good-looking, He knows how to sing. He has a sincere voice.
But, What I do not like is how Taiwan's ShowBiz idolize him...

Its like...he has became not unique, not special anymore.
This time in this performance, he really cant reach the high pitch and his voice broke.
But the judges still saying "Yeah, this is good", "This is emotions", "This is the way he expressed" bla bla bla bla...and they gave him full marks. 5/5

Only 小胖老师, gave his honest judgement which he only gave him 4/5 and he said that although he can see through the emotional aspect from him but the standard of singing is still not there.
I truly agree. Even Anthony himself kept nodding his head when 小胖老师said that. And he looks surprised when other judges still gave him compliments.
Come on! A normal person also know that the note he reached is obviously broken! and its not what emotion or anything else! The judges are just....fix a mindset in their brains that he is good!and I do not know why they have to do that? I thought this competition is always professional since I watched the 1st season.


Afterthat, went to Youtube and search for his videos.
Yup, he is a blast within a night. Every forums kept talking about him and now he also owns an ad with McDonald's. He was on some of the Taiwan variety shows as well.

Okay, firstly, I wanna say, I really impressed in his singing, spontaneous composing, and acting.
He has a youtube channel with his friends and they did very funny videos and quite a number of singing works. He is talented. I like his McDonald's commercial as well.

But then when Taiwan ShowBiz starts to make him to become a blast...I felt...different.
He sang that song in the variety show "大学生了没" and the host, the audience kept "wow"-ing
You know! Taiwan!!! *rolls eyes*
Its like...a good performance has became like nothing...has became like something simple...
His sincere voice has became like an act. A performance which is to perform and no purpose behind it. Everybody starts crazy over him and it seems like his specialty has been covered and the focus has turned to something else.


Just like we used to say...Overrated!


I know it happens when we see people we like, we admire...
But then, maybe he is too special that I do not wanna be a person that supports him as anybody else. Anyway, this is what ShowBiz had potrayed.
Whether we like it or not, the person has to be popular, to create buzz in the society.
Kudos to Anthony! Really hope you can do well in the industry and sincerely, truly touched each and everyone that supports you.


I also feel that the competition should stop. Because it's getting more and more boring and not unique or special anymore. I stopped following since season 3.....its really too much!
What will the contestants from season 1 feel? What about the champion of Season 1?
What if everybody feels like they are just as same as the champions from other seasons. And what if actually there is only ONE champion that is really good?
I know this is a selfish thought but Good things are suppose to be only ONE, that's why, it's precious. isn't it?

Last Weekend, I went to Kluang for NanTah Performance for 2 days...
Wooo....Such a long time I never go back to the group and really practice singing with them..

Rebelious Rocks

I love Ashley Tisdale's latest Album, Guilty Pleasure.

She sounds more mature, not the disney girl we used to see (as what she said)

This album has lots of songs that are really different from the past album.

Also, the image is different as well. The theme of the album is like more grown up, there are more rebelious, mature kind of feel.

Ashley Tisdale voice changed a lot as well!

At first I really cant imagine how is she going to perform all the rock songs in the album.

After listening a few times, I really love some of the songs and the lyrics are meaningful too.

Most of them are break-up songs.

First hit "It's Alright, It's Okay" is a girl singing to a boy that she is still ok even though not living with him and it's even better living without him. This song is super catchy and its damn enjoying when you jam the song like nobody cares! Its great!

Other songs like "Masquerade", "Overrated", "Erase & Rewind", "How do you love someone" are great works that I like. I love the lyrics for "Erase & Rewind". The situation is really significant for a person to totally end a relationship but still cant get over it for a little bit. The contradicting feelings that we had when we wanna erase all the memories and rewind ourselves back to the original person.

"Masquerade" is a flirtatious song! Being in a relationship you have to wear different kinds of masks, play different kinds of roles. Nice lyrics, Great Song!

There is only a ballad song in the album which is "What if". Its kind of like rock ballad and compared to the last album ballad hit "Suddenly", Its totally different. This is even nicer and more touching than I thought. Ahhhh...love this song a lot!

Bonus tracks that doesn't include in the album like "Guilty Pleasure" & "Me Without You" is good as well! The way Ashley Tisdale sang in this album, is a great improvement for her. She really gave the listeners the "You go Girl!" kind of feel! Maybe there are too much of rock songs compiled together but depends on the listeners interest...

Its great listening to it when you feel down...Jam Jam Jam!!!

Yesterday on the way back, heard a new voice in Fly FM.
Its Yuna. A malay girl from Malaysia.
I think some of you would know.
I saw her peformances in Youtube as well...
I also listen to some of her gigs she posted in her MySpace.
Not bad!
Sings very well. Her music styles are Alternative, Acoustic & Folk.
Not Bad though. She dun sound like a Malay at all.
But I cant find the song I heard...Hmmm...
Hope I will get the chance to listen again soon.

Hmm...Too free recently...
I went to replay the S Club 7 series all over again...(But not finished yet!)
From their first series, "Miami 7" and the Special movie "Back to the 50's"..
Until L.A7, Hollywood7, Viva S Club and S Club Gone Wild..
Also all the special movies....

Yeah, remember I had a previous post about they are coming back...
Hmm....Its end of June now...
It hasn't have any updates till now...
I did not see the collection album in stores either...
Or maybe, they had cancelled the contract? Hmmm.....miss them lots...

A lot of flashbacks actually~
1999, a boring afternoon and a boring kid..
I was in my parent's room, switching channels to channels for nice shows.
I was primary 5 that time! Haha...10 years ago...from now..
The song "I Really Miss You" stunned me and made me continue to follow Channel 5 (Singapore Channel) every wednesday 5:30pm.
That day was showing "Miami 7 Episode 9-Missing"
And...Yup! Thats how i fell in love with the band!

They are energetic! The songs were nice...
Top Hits like Bring it all back, S Club Party, Two in a million...
Then to Reach, Natural, Never had a Dream Come True,
Don't Stop Movin, You, Have you ever, Alive, Who do you think you are, Whole lotta nothin'
And of course many many more...

Unfortunately, They only debut 4 albums and 1 collection album.
5 years being in the music industry..Its short though...
Although each of them had gone different ways. But I still love the scenes when they were together.

Haha, I can still remember last time i was so crazy over them and collect every single stuff of them. Albums are a MUST! also pictures, posters, magazines, collectibales...
Till now, They are still my Number 1 Idol...They are the first celebrity that I crazy of..

The whole song is quite long, but please be patient...

Because the musician really arranged these 2 allegro songs beautifully...
The collaboration of piano and cello is ALWAYS my favourite..

Love story is nicely done with creative arrangements... Especially the short solo of the cello, it brings the song into another level. The musician then slows down Love Story again with the cello accompaniment from 3:02 to 3:15. It is a really really good arrangement for it. Followed by the running notes.
I LOVE the running notes when Love Story is going to end,
It stretches out the song and its the climax part..
and the when the chords are coming out, Viva La Vida cames in....
It really gives me goosebumps......

The melody of viva la vida suddenly flows into the song in the middle part
And the cello's voice is more and more obvious...
Oh My Goodness, Its really got the OMG factor..
Strings are the main instrument in this song...
and for the piano, it emphasizes on the left hand chords...
From mezzo forte to forte then to fortissimo.....It is so so so so GRAND
Melt~ Melt~ Melt~

He uses Da Capo to return to the begining of the song and end it nicely.
