Toy Story 3

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 0

Toy Story 3.
Nice one!
Just like I enjoyed the 1st & 2nd one..
Sweet movie...
Its saddening when you know the fact that, we grow old but toys won't..
And ended up they will be given away or thrown into the garbage.

Lots of funny scenes and jokes!
It's seriously hilarious!
I don't know what the scriptwriter wants to portray the role of Ken..
But I am very positive that he is a metrosexual that's not Gay!
Because he is truly in love with...Barbie =)
Hahahaha!!
And the Latin Buzz Lightyear! Funny~

Watch it people!
To bring back the memories of playing toys when we were pre-school toddlers...

Over It

Monday, June 21, 2010 0
Gone with the wind...
Let's get over it... Promise?

Successfully ended 3 weddings this month...Relief...
Waiting to have fun and finish with a great ending.

Look! Babies!! Haha!
Went for babysitting at Denise's..Not exactly babysitting but crash into a mama-talk with Denise & Daphne...Haha! Just being a busybody. Hmm...as a full time mother is not really easy.. from taking care a 'fragile' creature to a mischevious kid then a rebelious teen to a well educated person.
Ok...its...really tough..
But undeniably they are freakingly cute!!
Pictures above are their kids, from left, Joel (Daphne's 1 year old son), Anderson (Denise's 4 year old son), & YangXuan (Denise's 11 months old son)
The last time I saw Anderson was a shy little 2 year old kid. And now he has became super active and playful. He is more talkative than before too! He was running here and there, doing role plays (you know...kids!)...and much more funny stuff.

Stepping into July...Durian Season all the way...(eeewww!) I hate Durians..Do you know that I will feel giddy if I am sitting in a car with full of Durians? LOL! I dunnoe why, but I only know that one day I woke up in the morning when I was Sec 2, I cant stand durians since then...
Picture shown was actually a small Durian party at my buddhist centre last week...Erm...and now my refrigerator is full of DURIANS!!! =.=

Was on night shift yesterday..like it as usual! =)

For the 100th time I went to Vivo's within these 2 months.... =.= I ordered the Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Icecream...Yummy!

Guess what? I had a sweet encounter afterthat...Aww! Desserts never fails to make me happy!

Thats why Im lovin' it! *smiles*

There was a really big rainpour this morning. On the way to work, thick stormy clouds spreading..Especially the wind! Its seriously strong! Almost blew me away!
After the rain, its a sunshine day...
Wonder why? Because 2012 is approching! Wahaha!

Joash

Saturday, June 19, 2010 1
Once my classmate for Moral Class during my 2nd semester
Once a pass by friend in my college
Once a friendly & funny neighbour during my college life in Ridzuan Condo

I got the news on 17th June 2010 morning
I was stunned.
I never burst out into tears until I called Joanne Mah
Because I just cant believe everything happened so fast..

Till today, I never expect that death approched me so early..

You are once a chatting topic in Heartnest.
Saying how friendly, how kind you are and of course...
Your signature sunshine smile.

After reading Chenlin's blog, that picture made me cried.
It really hook up those memories that we were staying just next door
You climbed out to the balcony and just to say hi...
Pass by our door and just have a short chit chat,
Chatting about homework & lecturers,
Laughing the coconut tree on top of my head
Seeing you playing tennis down stairs from our unit and shouting your name:
"Joash!!!!!"

I am very sorry for what had happened.
I will never forget the last message I saw in FB
Everytime when I thought of this, I just cant control my tears.

Life is too too too, very fragile...
A bubble...
A bubble that poofs out without a notice..

God has taken you back from everyone else that knows you.
I really hope it is for good.
Because it is too hard to accept a kind soul has left us in a second.
I believe that you will not want us too hold these grieves for a long time..
Life goes on no matter what.
I pray for you...
I pray for you to be well and happy no matter where you are..

Rest in peace Joash..

------------------ Sharing -------------------
I said something to a guest which I felt REALLY uneasy...
I was praised by a guest and she felt that my work is very interesting, therefore, I explained:
"Actually it depends on the guest, some are very co-operative, but some not, and want this and that but don't want to pay."
Then both of us stunned for a moment with silence...
I really hope that she don't misuderstand my meaning...
SCARED!!!! ahhhhhh~
---------------------------------------------------

25th of June I will be going up to KL to meet my beloved ones...
Looking forward!!!!
Hoping that it is tomorrow and I will be start departing to the airport now! <3

Get Funkaaay!

Thursday, June 3, 2010 0
I was so excited and I just need to blog about this!!!!
I love this episode of Glee: Funk, Ep 21
Before that saw the reviews were not good but I kinda like it though!
Next week will be the season finale and I have to wait till Fall for the new season!

Happenings in this episode:

Love Quinn's number, "Its a Man's Man's Man's World"
Love the hair of depressed Cheerios!
Love Brittany for wearing the cheerio's shirt upside down! Hahahaha!
I don't know why but I really get turned on by Mr Schuester's performance! Gasps! 0_0
Puck, Finn and Mercedes really punk up the choir room! Wohoo!
It's saddening seeing Jesse did that to Rachel which he actually do not want it.
I shed tears okay!!! =( Especially when she said: "Break it! Like how you broke my heart!"
Mercedes helps Quinn out makes me go "Awww..."
Loves Rachel's line:
"And now I just having nightmares of mother chickens and baby chicks coming for revenge!"
Loves Kurt's line:"I am so depressed that I wear the same outfit twice in a week."
ROFL!

The last number was actually good! Quinn is totally out from her usual image! Rachel is gorgeous! Santana is in PURPLE!!! Brittany's dance moves is awesome!
Everyone was FUNKAAAAYYYY!

Regionals is NEXT WEEK!

As a Wedding Planner...

Wednesday, June 2, 2010 1

My office

On 19/5/2010, I got my name tag.
I was so delighted! Because this name tag looks damn pro okay...haha!
At least I think it is.
Anyway, I was waiting for this name tag for quite a long time and now I've got it!
So I would like to blog about my working life as a wedding planner.

Back then, when we watch movies that are related to weddings, the wedding planner will be an essential role in the movie for sure! I really thought that this job is actually quite interesting, very happy kind of thing. Of course, I also enjoyed to be a guest for weddings of my friends or relatives. Because it makes me feel happy when people is happy. Rejoice the happiness with the wedding couple, its such a happy thing! =)

So, this had been my small little dream to be a wedding planner.
Therefore, I am lucky to get this job.
Its part of event management and its what I want in the first place.
As a wedding planner, it might look glamour and interesting on the surface .
But behind it, its a really tiring job! (Think twice, which job is not tiring anyway?)
Ok, it is indeed interesting I can say. Depends on who you work with.
If the guest is very cooperative, easy going, then you are very lucky.
Or else, you will end yourself in big trouble if you screw up just small little things.

In service line, we have to accept the fact that, Customers are ALWAYS right!
*angelic smile*

So, throughout the half year I had been working here, I learned a lot.
Wedding is a very important event to a family & the wedding couple.
It is as important as life & death. Because you only get married once in your lifetime.
Right? (Of course there might be other circumstances but who wants that?)

That's why, in the first place, I am already in the stress situation because I am the one who has to hold this responsibility as a wedding planner to plan and coordinate the wedding for the family.

Hmm....interesting right??!!

You have to be prepared in all times to receive the "bombs" launched out by your guests.
They will add up a lot of requests last minute, make changes this and that.
That is why sometimes I wonder I will die of heart attack as my heart is getting weaker and weaker... =.=

You have to be prepared with swords and armours because sometimes your guests are smiling but hiding a pen knife with them.
You thought he or she is like a tame little kitty, but ended up, they might turn into a wild tiger and gobble you up!

Still, there are a series of unfortunate events you will need to face with internal staff and last minute changes. So as a wedding planner, or to say an event coordinator, be prepared is the main requirement.

Lets look at the bright side, this world is not only filled with bad people.
Of course, I met a plenty of guests that are very lovable!
There are 5 weddings I handled during May and there are 2 couples are the people I like the most, throughout all the weddings I handled and assisted.

1st couple is very very sporting, modern and out-going. As their wedding was handed over by my previous colleague, that's why I have to get to know them and go through with them from A-Z on the details of the wedding. They are very helpful and understand my position as a newcomer. They even helped me to solved some of the problems. The bride is as talkative as me, thats why I enjoyed having discussions with them, because there will be no awkward moments. During the actual day, I really had a great time coordinate their wedding dinner and guess what? They are the 1st chinese couple that I have met using Black colour as the theme colour of the wedding. Modern right? Kick off all the traditions and be different! I like ~ Even all the banquet staff get a shock and keep confirming with me, is it true that this is a CHINESE wedding dinner?

2nd couple that I like as well is also very kind and helpful. But most of the time I only liaise with the bride. She is a very humble and low profile person even though both of them are rich people. They are not fussy, they put themselves in my shoes and never gave me any troubles. They are the couple that never telephone me all times and annoyed me at all. Thats why I was so afraid if any last minute changes and ended up I kept calling them. Haha! They are very easy going people and I am very grateful to have both of them as my guest.
Other than that, there are also a few guests are very friendly.

In this industry, you will feel the world is smaller. There is one bride is actually my sister's senior schoolmate and I saw my friend in her wedding because the groom is my friend's brother's friend. There's one couple is actually a relative of my mum's friend whom i also know. And there is another couple is acually my friend's friend and I found their dinner photos on Facebook. So...it is a small small world.

Ok, I had narrate too much on all of these, let the pictures speak for me~

Ranggoli drawings on Indian Weddings, Beautiful?

This is the wedding cake I like most!

This is a Malay brothers' wedding, 2 couples on the same day. Special!

Malay weddings that held in our venue are mostly rich ppl, so its kinda grand!

This is the Chinese wedding couple that I mentioned, using black as the theme

Black & Purple!! =)

Blue is my favourite theme for all weddings

Sometimes we have to D.I.Y the decorations ourselves for them

Or we have to find the resources ourselves for the couple
(This is the storage place of our convention centre, a huge place full of things!)

For the 2nd half year, only 2 - 3 more Chinese couples, as it is not a good year for chinese weddings this year. Then a plenty of Malay and Indian weddings in hand. One royal wedding which will be inviting our Sultan of Johor. Quite looking forward to it but also worried.
In a conclusion, I can rate an "OK" for my work...
It is a really good learning experience for me and I will be grateful & appreciate it a lot.
Especially the wonderful people that I met and I am going to meet in the future.
Wish me all the best! =)
