Hot Winter

Time flies, its the end of Year 2010 now.
Its damn fast! I just flashed back few things that I had done this year
And I couldn't really remember what I did.

This proves that, time is passing really fast.
Last year December, I was doing my internship in JB and living a quite monotonous life.


Last Last year's December, I was working and having LOADS of fun in America.
All these things happened just like yesterday.
Feel so close but yet so far.


This year's December,
I can say that it's optimistically fantastic.
Im back to JB for my Dad's 53 year old birthday,
We whipped up a meal and had a cozy home-cooked dinner.

Christmas is around the corner again, parties & meet ups. Yeah!

So happy to see all the decorations around Pavillion
Giant mistletoes, Huge Christmas trees, and White reindeer carts
Awwwww....

In order to hit the sales target, we are having a competition!!
Battle of the 2 teams in TSPV..The store is so hyped up now!
Had lots of fun during work, we are fighting over the sales and cheering for our own team.
This really boost up our energy during work!

Someone special walked into my life.
Who makes me feel that love & happiness is still around.
I really hope that, there's no obstacles or boundaries between us.
And I really want it to....last.

Its gonna be a hot winter, a hot hot winter. <3

I wouldn't have the chance to experience MTV Asia Awards live and eat cup noodles in a jug!
I wouldn't have the chance to work with Wing Tai Asia
I wouldn't have the courage to runaway from home
I would have to go through the air steward interview alone
I would need to find out Perfect Ice myself because Im afraid to talk to strangers
I might need to squeeze into another car for a PD & Malacca road trip
The colour story of my college life will be incomplete
I wouldn't know that my perseverance of vegetarianism and saving the environment is precious
Strawberry Parfait day & Retail off day will not exist
I wouldn't have a good fortune telling friend...LOL!!!
I wouldn't have a graduation cert for "Sue's Crapology"
Nobody will share the other half of the Oreo cookie with me
Nobody will rejoice the happiness of eating Tater Tots with me
Nobody will argue great things about America & Australia with me
Nobody will randomly ask me out for karaoke at 12am
Nobody will find out my darkest secret..

AirAisa is still constantly giving me cheap tickets to fly there and I am able to communicate with the people there to find my way to your house in beautiful Hangzhou, China.

Persatuan Kay-Poh (Busybody Society) Day

This starts when 2 shopaholics meet.

So its my off day and both of us went out again.
Yes, I mentioned, BOTH OF US!

My main target is to do groceries shopping and maybe add on a little bit of Markdown Sales stuff from Topman to pamper myself. Her target is to get her famou-licious Strawberry Skinnies from our heavenly Topshop.

So I woke up early in the morning to tidy up my "pasar malam" room. Rearranged a bit. I have a new room now! Whereas she went to settle some administrative stuff for herself while waiting for me to travel from my house to her territory.

Listen carefully! I used the word TRAVEL!
And yes, I literally TRAVELLED from my place TO her place using our Malaysia's efficient LRT and our "beloved" transportation of all, KTM!! Ugh! It takes me almost 2 hours to reach Subang! Which is equivalent to reach Malacca and enjoy the mouth-watering Chendol!
Like seriously! I have no idea how much longer we have to bear the existence of KTM!

Ok, met her at the station. With the usual screams and hugs~
Then we dropped by Mr Tang's office to handover some documents. And I was quite impressed with the "systematic" culture of corporate companies.

Break Time = ALL GONE! (sweat!)

Brings back memories when I was was with this kind of culture. Yeeee~ Quite scary though.
Office life is SO OVER for me now! Yuck!

Moving on, we dashed to Mid Valley to fulfil our shopping urge!!!
After a great lunch at Chilli's, we started to walk to the direction of Topshop & Topman. When we were halfway there, I was sucked by the L'Occitane's promotion booth and the Voyage themed visuals caught my attention...So cute!!!! The staff are all in sailor suits!
And yea, I bought a promotion set when she is mumbling around my ears saying that its not worth it...Hahaha! Well~ Nothing stops me for L'Occitane.
Then we went to Topshop/Topman. She got her strawberry skinnies! Its a must have okay!! Got her frog ear-rings, and she managed to spot a bird-and a nest-with bird eggs ring. So super gaya!
Nothing much amazed me, mostly accessories. So I bought 2 bracelets, 1 suspenders (for the top, not the bottom one! ==), and a striped snood which both of us love and was discovered by her.
She doesn't wanna buy the same thing with me at first but after a loooong consideration, she still buys it! Ohohohoho! And all the little accessories costs me over RM100 even though it's all price point items...imagine if I add the green patent leather belt that I liked too...(Dammmmnnnn)

Next stop: groceries shopping. While deciding to shop between Carrefour or Jusco, I was mentioning about having dinner at Subway because I brought the Subway voucher where I got it when I applied a debit card from Alliance Bank (I was forced to and was just helping a salesman). So dinner is fixed.
Talking about vouchers and discounts, we accidentally stumbled on the bunting of Krispy Kreme saying "10% off for all items with a single receipt from Carrefour". This gave us a much more convincing reason to shop in Carrefour now!!! *woots*
As she said: Everything happens with a reason.
The most important thing is: I used recycled bags today!!! YAY!

After the groceries and subway. We went back to Krispy Kreme and guess what! They are distributing FREE Sugar Glazed Doughnuts!!!! Such an OMG thing!!! Hahahaha!
So we were munching the free doughnut and bought a dozen of doughnuts home.

We were laughing at ourselves like some 40-year-old kay-poh aunties (tai-tai) got cheated by all the promotions and tied up with numerous shopping bags at the end of the day. Such an irony thing is that we are working in the sales industry too...ROFL
Anyway, such a fun & fulfilling shopping day!

有时还真的是受不了！Retail 的人，真的永远都那么Bitchy吗？！
不过到回来看看自己，还真的是没错！哈哈哈！不过我的Bitchy指数还没那么高啦！
我还是很善良，友善的！哼！
现在看清了所有人的真面目，自然的面对彼此。真的好开心！
才知道一切的猜疑，都是多余的。

那天在赶火车回家的时候，穿梭了两三个人跑上电手扶梯，
结果钩到！跌个狗吃屎！丢脸到半死！
应该有被那两三个人笑吧！呃！
要不是在拼生活，和时间赛跑，也不会发生这样的事！
想一想，上天应该也要感动一下下吧！
虽然较真的还蛮痛的，可是就是要让你跌了，才知道什么是痛。
这个教训带来了什么启发？

又有一次，一群不是吉隆坡来的阿嫂群...
（在此，我求求我所有的女性朋友，不要变成这样的阿嫂，真的还蛮丢脸的）
在我们店里高谈阔论，讨论要不要买一条项链...吵到要死！
我负责招待他们，招待完后，其中一位问了问我，毕业了没？
我说毕业了啊！她再问：不读大学了吗？
我心想：啊！人家都已经22岁了，看不出？真是太开心了！呵呵呵呵呵！
然后我说：对啊！大学毕业了啊！
她问：读什么？
我答：大众传播。
她说：哦，不错。那不是大材小用，大众传播应该是到电视台才对啊~

我心想她应该不需要我的回答了，我也不希望继续这段话题，
不然我不知道他们要在我的店高谈阔论到几时？？！
我便只是笑笑而已。她都不知道我其实是处在Supervisor的位置。（斜眼，扁嘴，耸肩）
而且这句话都不知道是褒还是贬？==

我说过了无数次，我的未来，我只要快乐。
以目前的状况，我真的真的很快乐，发自内心的快乐。

Harem Pants

Harem Pants, one of the type of pants that I like a lot.
First met this pants on a blog shop and totally in love with the style.
Harem Pants, also known as Drop Crotch Pants.
They are baggy long pants tapered at the ankle, with side flaps on the hip that button at the waist area. The popularity of harem pants increased in the late 1980s (Wikipedia, 2010)

To me, Harem pants is sort of like a combination between tapered pants and skinny jeans.
Baggy on the top half and tight at the bottom half. Some cutting are even lower.
Its a hit garment in the market now.
As you guys know, fashion is like a cycle.It goes back to the days of our Dads and Mums. Those were the days where Harem Pants were popularly worn and seen as well as tapered pants. I remember my mum has a few of them.

Harem pants are supposed to wear it as LOW as possible because the main point is the baggy look of it. Most of the people will have the wrong perception that it looks weird when its too baggy and they tend to pull it high to reduce the baggy-ness of it. For Tapered pants, you can wear it high but for Harem, its low. The fun part is the contrast between the baggy and skinny for the whole look.

Most of the fashionistas have the same comment about Harem pants.
It is stylish and trendy. You do not need to match it with an outstanding top or do lots of layering because the pants itself already outshines the outfit. Especially some of the printed harem pants for women. For example: Peacock print, Leaf Skeleton print, Tatoo print, etc.

Basic Mix & Match:
Therefore, you just have to wear a simple and nice top or a cool printed tee for guys with single coloured harem pants, whereas for girls maybe can do a simple layering (a one coloured singlet layered with an oversize t-shirt). Let people focus on you hip and stylish printed harem pants.
Besides that, basic tops are easy to accessorize. Just a cool necklace or a pair of nice ear rings will do . Guys with a trendy watch, or bracelets that goes with the colour tone of the outfit and that's it.

Other than casual harem pants, now we have formal wear too.

This is a new look I found for Harem Pants on Lookbook. Honestly, I haven't seen a denim harem before. Slightly looks a bit like skinny jeans but you can still see the baggy part up there. Kinda cool actually. By the way, the sneakers with wings is a special line from Adidas designed by Jeremy Scott. A futuristic look from Adidas. There's a women's tank top on the mannequin in the Adidas store at Pavilion with two flaps of wings in front of the boobs. Looks interesting, but a bit funny though. Haha! Can't imagine a woman athlete wear this for an international sports competition and appears on the TV. Haha!

Tater Tots

Its the next Retail Off Day! Wheeeeee...
Planned to spend a night at The Tang's residence after work, before I enjoy my off day.
I thought I will be on morning shift on that day but who knows! Im actually noon shift.
Ended up, I work for full shift and finish work almost 10:45pm
Rushed to KL Central and its already 11:30pm and the KTM service to Subang Jaya ended.

=F*** KTM!!!=

Besides that, while running from the monorail station to KL Central, I met this auntie who haven't been to KL for quite some time and forgot the way to KL Central. So I have to lead her and FOLLOW her walking pace....

So, the only public transport in such hour, Taxi....
It costs me RM22 to get my ass from KL Central to Subang Emipre.
Ish!
But its really happy to see all the folks in Subang Empire,
Kumar, Charmaine, Felina, Coffee Bean's staff, and more..

Of course, my glamourous BFF who had her Hairaphy (Sue Yee, T 2010) which surprises me a lot!!!!!! You look so hot babe!

Hang out for a while and planned to have the famous Hokkien Mee but too bad for the poor losers without cash in hand, we can't even afford a plate of Hokkien Mee...LOL!!!

Reason:
The taxi fees had sucked two-third of my money out from the wallet
Sue only left a few bucks in her purse as well.

Losers head back to the Tang's residence.
I walked in the house with a warm welcome from the BRAND NEW 42 inch plasma TV won from a lucky draw! *rolls eyes*
But most fortunately we have food at home!!!
Supper Menu: Korean Ramen + Mooncake + Fruit Juice
and the Legendary Tater Tots!!!!!!!!!! *screaaaaaamssss*

I was so delighted when Sue took out the packet from the freezer!

So we cooked, and eat and watch TV...
By the way, April had her Hairaphy too...
